About the role
At Sodexo, It all starts with the everyday.. and we run and efficient high-quality service! To provide this vital service we have a talented stores and distribution team behind us, and we currently have a vacancy for a Senior Storekeeper to join our team.
You’ll be the go-to person that will manage the daily delivery/collection of DAS furniture to Service Family Accommodation (SFA) properties at Wattisham, Woodbridge, Colchester, and Wethersfield!
You'll work as part of a team to motivate them and ensure that we deliver service excellence across the operation, always ensuring that all goods are received or delivered as required, whilst controlling stock levels.
You'll ensure Health and Safety regulations and Manual Handling training are followed. You will always ensure areas are maintained and efficiently performing, reporting any faults and non-compliances.

A few things about you
It’s important to have a positive, approachable attitude as this is a customer facing role with leadership responsibility. You will need to have strong communication skills with the ability to demonstrate great teamwork.
As Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do, there will be procedures, site specific guidelines / requirements and regulations to follow.
With safety at the heart of what we do, you must have Manual Handling training.
You must be able to follow instructions and also have great computer skills (mainly the Microsoft packages; Word, Excel, Outlook).
You will need to be a keen learner, as you will have continuous training opportunities throughout your career.
