Our UK Healthcare segment have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer/Technician to join our talented and hard working team based at Leamington Spa Mega Lab!

To be successful in this position you will have proven substantial experience within the Electrical Trade of maintenance and repair, have sound understanding of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and good verbal and written communication skills.

Due to the nature of this role you will be required to complete BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance.
Main Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team of resident engineers on a split system of 4 days on and 4 off.
- Provide Technical support and assistance to carry out all PPM and reactive tasks to enable site to operate 24/7/365.
- To carry out Planned Maintenance and reactive work and assist others with that process.
- To ensure that where required any issues are highlighted to prevent failures.
- Assisting Sodexo to fulfil their obligations to maintain the estate and offer a 30 min response to issues whilst on site.

- To develop SOP’s to carry out the tasks safely and efficiently.
- Ordering and maintaining stock levels for repairs.
- Wherever needed, provide electrical guidance.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential
- Proven substantial experience within the Electrical Trade of maintenance and repair.
- Qualified to 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regs are above
- Sound understanding of Health and Safety at Work Regulations
- Be able to investigate and report on items within their role
- Be computer literate, preferable with knowledge of building management and CAFM systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Be Self-motivated and able to adapt to changing situations
- Be able to demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving using a logical approach
- Authorised person appointments as directed
Desirable
- Knowledge and training in Fire Alarm systems
- Experience of working within an Acute Hospital environment
