About the role
At Sodexo we are passionate about food and we place our patients at the heart of everything we do. To provide an exceptional service we have a team of passionate Kitchen Porters behind us and we currently have a vacancy to join our great team!
You will assist with all kitchen duties and will be responsible for preparing and serving food with due care and attention. You will clean your areas and wash up the crockery and cutlery afterwards, always ensuring your work areas are glistening!
Sodexo reserves the right to close this advert early if we are in receipt of a high number of applications.
A few things about you
This is a customer facing role so it’s important to have a positive, friendly attitude. You will work as part of a team and will need to have strong communication skills.
Experience working in a similar industry (e.g. food service, catering or hospitality) would be great, but generally customer service and food handling experience will tick the box!
A general knowledge of health and safety procedures is also required, with knowledge of basic food hygiene, food preparation, cooking and cleaning.
