Job Introduction

Exciting opportunity to come and join the team at Sodexo who work with our suppliers and to learn more about how we manage our supply chain (the way we bring products and services into the business)

This role is home based and therefore location can be anywhere, however easy reach of Stevenage or Salford is advantageous for meeting up and working together from time to time, but it is not essential. We work over Teams and you will get access to share folders so that when working remotely you can access everything you need.

We will supply a laptop and you will get access to the Sodexo’s learning system where you can access 100’s of online learning programmes and a playlist of training modules that has been superficially designed for our kickstart team members that will guide you through CV writing, interview techniques and so much more.

We hold a weekly learning and check in session with all our Kickstart employees so that they can connect and develop their skills whilst working virtually as a group and as soon as you have a Sodexo Email address you will be invited to join. This is an essential part of our programme, so your attendance is required.

Your line manager will show you what you need to do and how you need to do, all you need to do is come to work with a positive and pro-active attitude, and eagerness to work for a great organisation like Sodexo.

We are looking to find an enthusiastic and motivated individual passionate about contributing to make a positive impact for the people and community we serve.

The successful applicant will be given a full induction, and as stated above, Sodexo gives all out kickstart team members access to our learning systems and learning playlists that are designed to help them grow their business and professional skills.

You will also be paired with a mentor for the duration of the programme.

Main Responsibilities

These kickstart team member jobs will be working closely with the skilled supply management team, support on and administering essential supply chain processes and growing the individual’s overall knowledge and understanding of what supply chain management is all about in a large organisation such as Sodexo.

If you are confident working with IT and have some skills in working with Excel and other data systems. If you enjoy talking with people and performing methodical tasks. This could be a great introduction to the exciting career pathway
