Recup Manager at Ascot Racecourse

Job Introduction

1711 by Ascot are currently recruiting casual recup managers to work on racedays and other events that take place at Ascot Racecourse, the recup manager must ensure the operation runs smoothly, with sufficient recup vessels and staff at all times.

The ideal candidate in this position must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, maintaining a courteous demeanour with customers, as well as effectively make use of quiet times. Strong leadership and personnel management skills should be accompanied by a customer service focus and commitment to company values and image. The recup manager pays close attention to all operational details to ensure the comfort, safety and enjoyment of guests and job satisfaction of staff, as well as the financial success of the establishment.

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• To be able to work with a casual and varied staff pool and lead daily briefings focusing on health and safety, recup training and general expectations
• Manage a team collecting Recup vessels from customer tables and bin areas
• Manage a team separating and counting Recup Vessels
• Prepare Recup Vessels for collection from our external cleaning company
• Wear PPE when required
• Sorting through recup vessels, organising different types of drink ware into correct types
• Working with the in house cleaning team to drive forward the operation.
• Ensure front and back of house are working seemingly to help the operation.
