• £13.45 per hour
• 5.5 hours per week (Saturday's only) 
• Additional overtime may be available
• Working arrangement: Lone working, with no direct support

Please note, the role involves working independently without direct support or supervision during the shift. The successful candidate should therefore be comfortable working alone and managing their responsibilities independently.

About the Role

As a Food Service Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of a busy food service operation. From preparing and serving food to keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, you’ll help ensure everything runs smoothly.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team delivering great service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Maintain clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining areas
• Replenish food displays and service counters as required
• Support deliveries and store supplies appropriately
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Provide a friendly and helpful service to customers, colleagues or visitors

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise tasks
• Previous catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided
