With professionalism and a friendly approach, you’ll help reduce the stress of hospital visits for patients, staff, and visitors alike.
What you’ll do:

- Coordinate patient, staff, and visitor assistance, ensuring a professional and customer-focused service.
- Oversee the safe and dignified transfer of deceased patients, maintaining respect and compliance with hospital procedures.
- Supervise, train, and develop staff through inductions, refresher training, appraisals, and ongoing performance management.
- Monitor attendance, sickness absence, and payroll information, conducting return-to-work interviews as required.
- Ensure all work requests are completed within agreed response times and in line with relevant policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, promoting health, safety, welfare, and continuous service improvement.
What you bring:
- Physical stamina and ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- Calmness under pressure and adaptability to changing tasks
- Previous supervisory experience with the ability to lead and support teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT skills, including PC literacy and the ability to quickly learn and use new systems.
- Good understanding of health and safety, confidentiality, and high standards of customer care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and emotionally resilient, with the ability to work under pressure, use initiative, and respond effectively to changing priorities.
