Location: Oasis Academy John Williams, Petherton Rd, Bristol BS14 9BU
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
Contract: Term Time Only
Salary: £28244.67 per annum + Sodexo Benefits

Are you an experienced Catering Manager who enjoys leading a team and delivering great food and service?

We’re looking for a confident and passionate Catering Manager to take ownership of the catering operation at Oasis Academy John Williams in Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants a great work-life balance, with a Monday-to-Friday working pattern, no weekend working and a term-time-only contract.

What you'll be doing

As Catering Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the school catering operation, leading your team and ensuring pupils and staff receive a high-quality food service every day.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading, motivating and developing the catering team.
• Overseeing food preparation and service.
• Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and allergen standards.
• Managing stock, budgets and food costs.
• Working closely with the school to deliver an outstanding service.
• Introducing creative menus, themed events and activities to increase pupil engagement.
• Building strong relationships with the school, pupils and Sodexo colleagues.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous catering management or supervisory experience.
• Is confident leading and motivating a team.
• Has a passion for food and customer service.
• Has good knowledge of food safety and allergen management.
• Is organised, proactive and confident managing a busy catering operation.
• Has excellent communication skills.
• Experience within education catering would be desirable but isn't essential.
