Cleaning Operative (GMP Environment)

We’re looking for a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Catalent Pharma Solutions, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This role involves working within a highly regulated GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment, where precision, compliance, and attention to detail are critical.

At Sodexo, your work directly supports the safe production of pharmaceutical products by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.


What you’ll do

  • Carry out a range of cleaning tasks across offices, controlled areas, and GMP environments
  • Follow strict GMP procedures, site protocols, and cleaning schedules
  • Ensure all areas are maintained to audit-ready standards at all times
  • Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and correctly
  • Report any faults, hazards, or building issues promptly
  • Work as part of a team to support safe and efficient site operations

Standards & Compliance

  • Comply with all Company and Client policies and procedures
  • Adhere strictly to GMP regulations within a pharmaceutical environment
  • Follow Health & Safety, hygiene, fire safety, and COSHH requirements
  • Use appropriate PPE and follow colour coding and contamination control procedures
  • Complete all required training and maintain compliance standards
  • Identify and report risks, hazards, or opportunities for improvement

What you’ll bring

  • Essential: Previous cleaning experience
  • Preferred: Experience working in a GMP or pharmaceutical environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict processes
  • Understanding of the importance of hygiene and contamination control
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach
