Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation
The Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation is looking for 2 experienced and insightful professional to join its Audit & Compliance Working Group.
This voluntary role offers a unique opportunity to play a critical part in strengthening the governance of a growing Foundation, ensuring we operate with integrity, transparency and strong financial stewardship as we scale our charitable impact.
As a member, you will provide independent oversight and constructive challenge across financial governance, audit and risk management
What we are looking for:
- Strong financial literacy and understanding of audit processes
- Experience in governance, finance, risk management or internal controls
- Ability to analyse complex information and provide constructive challenge
- High integrity, sound judgement and professional discretion
- Commitment to the mission and values of the Stop Hunger Foundation
- Experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector
- Familiarity with regulated environments (Charity Commission) or external audits
Context and key challenges:
- Identify gaps, emerging risks and areas for improvement
- Supporting a strong internal control environment within a small‑charity finance model and dual audit requirements regulated by the Charity Commission

Key details:
- Voluntary role
- Time commitment: 2 meetings per year (aligned with audit cycle) with support to oversee the audit phase
