Location: No Fixed Location, Republic of Ireland.
Salary: €65,000 plus benefits
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Advisor to help strengthen and maintain a strong safety culture across multiple client sites across the Republic of Ireland.
This role is responsible for providing expert guidance and driving continuous improvement across Health & Safety, Food Safety, Environmental practices, Risk Management and Business Continuity. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams to ensure high standards of safety compliance and support the delivery of safe and effective services.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and champion a positive Health & Safety culture across client sites
- Provide expert occupational safety advice and guidance to operational teams
- Support the implementation of company Health, Food Safety and Environmental policies
- Lead local planning and performance management of EHS standards
- Carry out risk assessments and support safety training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and support audit preparation
- Contribute to risk registers and business continuity planning
- Conduct incident investigations and support root cause analysis
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and site-specific procedures
- Work collaboratively with the wider HSEQ network to drive improvements and best practice
Skills and Experience
- Diploma (or equivalent qualification) in Occupational Health & Safety
- IOSH membership or equivalent professional affiliation
- Experience in Food Services, Soft Services, Hard FM, or Mechanical & Electrical environments
- Strong working knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation
- Understanding of Food Safety systems including HACCP
- Experience implementing safety and quality management systems
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
