Purpose of the Role

 

We are looking for a Hospitality & Cleaning Operative to deliver day-to-day Hospitality and Cleaning services across the  site. The key focus of this role is to ensure all services are delivered confidently, efficiently, and in a timely manner — with minimal disruption to customers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient, friendly front-of-house food and beverage service.
  • Support hospitality and event functions, including room setup and bar preparation.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across catering areas and equipment.
  • Comply fully with Food Safety, Allergen, and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Check deliveries and record food temperatures.
  • Report incidents, complaints, and irregularities promptly.
  • Provide flexible support across the site, including covering colleagues when required.
  • Attend required training and team meetings.

 

Accountabilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer and client service.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and H&S standards.
  • Contribute positively to team performance.
  • Support continuous improvement in service quality.

 

Person Specification

  • Previous food handling experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
  • High standards of personal hygiene and presentation.
  • Reliable team player with a flexible approach to work.
