Job Description

Sodexo are seeking a friendly, reliable and proactive Front of House Café & Hospitality Assistant in Bracknell, RG121HL, to support the smooth daily running of our café and hospitality services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and is confident working as part of a team.

The role is varied and hands-on, requiring a positive attitude, strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to business needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate the café/restaurant till accurately and efficiently
• Serve hot and cold food and beverages from the café deli counter
• Support the team during busy service periods
• Replenish chillers, confectionery displays and general café supplies
• Carry out weekly stock checks and report ordering requirements
• Liaise with the Head Chef regarding stock levels
• Prepare and set up meeting room hospitality trolleys, including beverages and food
• Deliver and collect hospitality orders across the site
• Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised café environment
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Clear and clean café/restaurant tables promptly and efficiently
• Clean and restock office vending machines and bean-to-cup coffee machines

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and management
• Strong customer-facing skills with a professional and friendly manner
• PC literate (confident using basic computer systems)
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible and willing to support the business when required
• Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
• No barista experience required – full training can be provided
