What You’ll Do:

You’ll play a key role in a café operation serving a diverse student, staff, and public clientele

• Preparing and presenting hot and cold menu items to agreed specifications

• Cooking main meals with consistency, quality, and creativity

• Supporting daily kitchen operations including stock delivery, rotation, and ordering

• Completing temperature checks and maintaining accurate records

• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance

• Ensuring the kitchen and work areas are clean, organised, and audit-ready

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in food preparation within a similar environment (education, retail catering, café, or contract catering preferred)

• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices

• The ability to multitask effectively in a busy, high-pressure environment

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Flexibility, reliability, and a positive, team-focused attitude

• Strong organisational and stock management awareness
