What You’ll Do:
You’ll play a key role in a café operation serving a diverse student, staff, and public clientele
Preparing and presenting hot and cold menu items to agreed specifications
Cooking main meals with consistency, quality, and creativity
Supporting daily kitchen operations including stock delivery, rotation, and ordering
Completing temperature checks and maintaining accurate records
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance
Ensuring the kitchen and work areas are clean, organised, and audit-ready
What You Bring:
Previous experience in food preparation within a similar environment (education, retail catering, café, or contract catering preferred)
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices
The ability to multitask effectively in a busy, high-pressure environment
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Flexibility, reliability, and a positive, team-focused attitude
Strong organisational and stock management awareness
