Job Introduction

  • 30 hours per week

  • 4 or 5 days per week Monday to Sunday dependent upon business needs. 

  • Shifts worked between the hours of 6:30am and 3:45pm. However, flexibility may be required to cover evening and weekend working to meet business needs  

  • £12.21 per hour

Retail and Cafes Assistant – Sodexo | HM Naval Base, Portsmouth PO1 3HH

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve customers with a friendly, professional approach
  • Operate tills and handle transactions efficiently
  • Serving beverages (eg Tea, Coffee)
  • Cooking basic food items (such as a Toastie in an oven)
  • Stock Replenishment
  • Support promotions and loyalty programs
  • Maintain store cleanliness and uphold hygiene standards
  • Ensure responsible retailing by verifying ID for restricted items
