Job Introduction

We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Space Planner to join our team and support a major EMEA‑wide contract. In this role, you’ll manage space planning projects from initial brief through to completion, using data analysis, workplace insights, and creative problem‑solving to design and optimise effective workplace layouts.

As the first point of contact for space planning needs, you’ll collaborate closely with clients, site teams, designers, architects, and a wide range of stakeholders. Your ability to understand requirements, translate them into practical solutions, and present clear data, reports, and design outputs will be essential to your success.

You’ll also maintain accurate space data and may support additional activities such as occupancy planning, space utilisation studies, and other client‑driven tasks as they arise.

This is a remote role open to applicants across the UK and Ireland, with travel required to client sites and locations across the EMEA region.

Main Responsibilities 

  • Ability to identify opportunities for optimization of workspaces
  • Analyze data from various sources.
  • Create and communicate new floor plans while ensuring optimal department adjacencies.
  • Consideration of accessibility and sustainability strategy in application to space design
  • Identify and resolve design issues.
  • Prepare and present reports.
  • Support project implementation.
  • Maintain design documentation.
  • Ensure drawings conform to regulations.
  • Maintain floorplans and building information accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Global Workplace Services for reporting requirements.
  • Source and report reliable headcount/occupancy data.
  • Manage and interpret data for insights.
  • Produce business intelligence reports.
  • Able to visualize complex data in a simple format.

 The Ideal Candidate 

  • Experience in space/occupancy planning & design.
  • Strong understanding of spatial planning principles.
  • Analytical, able to identify occupancy trends, knowledge of current trends in space planning.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for effective and aesthetic spaces.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Proactive and collaborative team player with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects consistently.
  • Report writing experience.
  • Strong organizational and technical skills (incl. AutoCAD, MS Office)
