Job Introduction

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team at a busy and welcoming site in Grays, Essex. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping a kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly, and who enjoys working as part of a supportive team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all cleaning duties to the required standard, following training, schedules, and site procedures
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across client premises, paying close attention to detail and addressing issues promptly
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks, ensuring all checklists are signed and submitted as required
  • Conduct pre-use checks on all equipment and keep cleaning cupboards, equipment, and supplies tidy and well organised
  • Report any defects or Health & Safety concerns immediately and rectify issues where within capability
  • Work safely at all times, complying with Sodexo, P&G, and statutory Health & Safety requirements, while working independently or as part of a team and adapting to changing priorities.
