Job Introduction
We are currently seeking a professional and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team at 1HQ Diageo in central London. Just a short walk from Oxford Circus, this high-profile site in the heart of Soho requires a detail-oriented and organised individual to maintain exceptional cleanliness standards and deliver excellent service.

Role Responsibility
As Cleaning Supervisor, you will:

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of a team of cleaners

  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and on schedule

  • Allocate tasks, monitor staff performance, and ensure appropriate staffing levels

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness and safety standards

  • Liaise with management to address any site-specific cleaning requirements

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

  • Provide training, guidance, and support to the cleaning team

  • Maintain records and complete any required administrative tasks

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services, ideally in a supervisory role

  • Strong leadership and motivational skills

  • Ability to delegate tasks and monitor team performance effectively

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards

  • Good communication and customer service skills

  • Physical stamina to carry out the role as needed

  • Basic administrative competence
