• no fixed place of work, predominately home based with some nationwide travel, own transport ideal

• £30,000pa - £35,000pa + excellent benefits

• 40 hours pw Monday - Friday with some flexibility depending on business requirements

We’re looking for a creative, curious and forward-thinking Learning Designer to help us shape the future of digital learning across our fast-paced, high-energy business. If you’re passionate about turning knowledge into engaging experiences and love experimenting with new technology (including AI), this could be your perfect next step. This is a new and pioneering role, the first of its kind within our team, designed to embrace emerging technology and shape the future of digital learning at Sodexo Live!.

As our Learning Designer, you’ll bring learning to life through interactive, meaningful, and beautifully crafted digital content. Your work will be key to ensuring our teams are confident, capable and ready to deliver exceptional experiences every day.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop and enhance e-learning modules using Mapal and other LMS platforms

• Create induction, refresher, compliance and safety training that supports thousands of colleagues

• Build blended learning journeys that combine e-learning, live sessions and on-the-job activities

• Use AI-driven tools such as Synthesia, Mindsmith and more to create dynamic learning content

• Work closely with subject matter experts to identify needs and transform them into impactful learning

• Ensure content meets accessibility standards and reflects best-in-class instructional design

• Apply ADDIE and Kirkpatrick methodologies to design, measure and continuously improve learning

• Support facilitators with high-quality resources, toolkits and virtual session materials

• Analyse learning data to understand performance, behaviours and opportunities for improvement

• Champion innovation and help the business adopt new digital learning tools and approaches

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in instructional design and e-learning content creation

• Strong working knowledge of LMS systems

• Proficiency with authoring tools such as Evolve (and desirably Storyline or Captivate)

• Experience with AI-driven content creation

• Understanding of ADDIE, Kirkpatrick and best-practice learning methodologies

• Creative thinking, strong communication and outstanding organisational skills

• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines

• A passion for digital learning innovation and exploring what’s possible
