Salary: £14.70 per hour
Working Hours: 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour shifts across 5 rotating shifts)

Job Introduction
We are currently looking to recruit a Security Officer to join our team at the prestigious Johnnie Walker site in central Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity to be part of a professional and high-profile security operation, ensuring the safety and security of staff, visitors, and premises. Main Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to all security and safety incidents appropriately.

• Patrol the premises regularly to maintain a visible presence and deter any potential risks.

• Control access and egress to the site, ensuring the safety of all occupants.

• Operate security systems, including CCTV (if qualified).

• Provide a professional and courteous response to any queries or incidents.

• Complete incident and daily activity reports as required.

• Support evacuation procedures and emergency response actions when necessary.

The Ideal Candidate

• Valid Door Supervisor SIA Licence (Essential)

• CCTV SIA Licence (Desirable)

• Proven experience in a security officer role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

• A flexible approach to work with the ability to work various shifts as part of a 4 on 4 off pattern

• Good links to public transport (driving licence desirable due to shift times)
