We are now seeking an BEMS Manager to join our team at i2020 Belfast

 

 What you’ll do:

 

  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance on BEMS and energy management systems
  • Lead and coordinate internal teams and contractors in planned, preventative, and reactive BEMS maintenance
  • Diagnose and resolve BEMS faults, including remote fixes and alarm management
  • Identify and resolve HVAC performance issues via BEMS or reactive work orders
  • Respond to Helpdesk requests and escalate issues requiring capital investment
  • Develop and implement control strategies to maximise efficiency and reliability
  • Drive software and hardware upgrades to minimise disruption and risk
  • Analyse utility data, produce reports, and support sustainability goals

 

What you bring:

 

  • Extensive experience managing and operating building controls and BEMS (ideally Schneider, Trend IQ Vision, Cylon)
  • Level 4 qualification (or higher) in Electrical/Building Services Engineering, Maintenance, Controls, or equivalent
  • Experience using energy metering and energy management systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office, plus advanced Excel skills (data analysis, pivot tables, complex formulas)
  • Strong ability to interpret large data sets and produce technical reports
  • Desirable
    • BCIA Technical or Advanced Technical Certificates
    • Experience in government services or large estates
    • Membership of a professional body (e.g. CIBSE)
