Sodexo is seeking a Multiskilled Fabric Technician to support the day-to-day services across our HMRC Bristol site. You'll manage both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, coordinate contractors and suppliers, and play a key role in ensuring full statutory and contractual compliance through our integrated maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Diagnosing and repairing faults across building services systems within own technical competencies.
  • Conducting routine maintenance to maintain systems in accordance with statutory standards and best practices.
  • Executing minor installation and asset replacement tasks as directed.
  • Developing strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Supporting the development of apprentices by offering guidance and technical support.
  • Exercising independent judgment within defined parameters to resolve technical problems.
  • Considering cost-efficiency and sustainability in all tasks performed.

What you bring:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ site-based experience post-qualification in a building services or technical maintenance environment.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Building Services or an equivalent technical qualification.
  • Technical Skills: Strong practical engineering skills, with a solid understanding of compliance and current industry standards.
  • Independence: Proven ability to work independently while managing time and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Health & Safety: Demonstrated commitment to health and safety standards and working with safe systems of work.
  • IT Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office and familiar with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Communication: Clear and effective communicator with a professional approach to engaging with customers and team members.
  • Workflow Understanding: Familiarity with Helpdesk systems and maintenance workflows.
