About the Role:
As our Front of House Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, friendly, and professional operation of food services across daily dining and hospitality events. This is a hands-on role that combines leadership, organisation, and customer service, offering variety and impact every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day FOH operations in dining areas and hospitality functions
Supervise and support your team to maintain exceptional service standards
Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and presentation meet company and legal standards
Deliver excellent customer service and act as a visible point of leadership during service
Provide training and coaching to FOH staff
Coordinate service during school events, functions, and occasional term-break bookings
Support back-of-house service where needed, fostering collaboration across teams
Manage stock control, ordering, and administration including cleaning and temperature records
Ensure the team upholds all health & safety procedures and allergen protocols
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within catering or hospitality
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Natural leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to handle fast-paced service with a calm, customer-focused attitude
Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate
Flexible approach to shift patterns (including occasional evenings/weekends)
Desirable:
Experience in menu planning, stock control, and ordering
An assessor qualification or experience delivering catering qualifications
Experience in event or function service in a high-end or school setting
