Oasis Academy Lister Park is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the day-to-day catering operation and deliver exceptional service that supports the wellbeing and success of our students.

 ️ The Role:
As Kitchen Manager, you will take ownership of the entire catering operation, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service across all meal times, school functions, and events. You’ll lead a committed Sodexo team, manage resources effectively, and deliver service excellence with a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and team leadership

  • Ensure food safety, allergen compliance, following recipes and due diligence at all times

  • Deliver delicious, nutritious meals to students and staff

  • Plan menus, manage stock, and control budgets

  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safe working practices

  • Lead on staff training, appraisals, and development

  • Support occasional out-of-term-time events

  • Build positive relationships with the school community and Sodexo


✅ What You’ll Bring:

  • 2–3 years' experience in catering management or team supervision

  • Level 3 Food Safety (preferred – training can be provided)

  • Strong knowledge of allergens, due diligence, and HACCP

  • A team player with commercial acumen and people-first leadership skills

  • Organised, innovative, and passionate about quality and service

  • HND or equivalent vocational qualification (an advantage)
