Are you a passionate and experienced catering leader ready to make a real difference in a vibrant educational community? Oasis Academy Lister Park is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the day-to-day catering operation and deliver exceptional service that supports the wellbeing and success of our students.

️ The Role:
As Kitchen Manager, you will take ownership of the entire catering operation, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service across all meal times, school functions, and events. You’ll lead a committed Sodexo team, manage resources effectively, and deliver service excellence with a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations and team leadership
Ensure food safety, allergen compliance, following recipes and due diligence at all times
Deliver delicious, nutritious meals to students and staff
Plan menus, manage stock, and control budgets
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safe working practices
Lead on staff training, appraisals, and development
Support occasional out-of-term-time events
Build positive relationships with the school community and Sodexo
✅ What You’ll Bring:
2–3 years' experience in catering management or team supervision
Level 3 Food Safety (preferred – training can be provided)
Strong knowledge of allergens, due diligence, and HACCP
A team player with commercial acumen and people-first leadership skills
Organised, innovative, and passionate about quality and service
HND or equivalent vocational qualification (an advantage)
