Security Officer (Nights)
Location: Broxburn, EH52 5AU
Salary: £13.10 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, night shifts (12-hour shifts)
As a Security Officer at Sodexo in Broxburn, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our site, colleagues, and visitors. Your professionalism and vigilance will help ensure a secure environment where everyone can feel confident and protected.
What you’ll do:
Monitor and control access to the site from the gatehouse.
Carry out regular patrols and inspections to ensure a secure perimeter.
Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
Maintain accurate documentation, including incident reports and visitor logs.
Deliver excellent customer service to all colleagues and visitors.
What you bring:
A valid SIA Security Licence.
Previous experience in a security role, ideally within a corporate or industrial setting.
Strong communication and observation skills.
The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
A full UK driving licence.
