Location: Broxburn
Working Hours: 42 hours per week (4 on 4 off)
Salary: £13.10 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time

Job Introduction
As a Security Officer at Sodexo, you’ll play a key role in keeping our clients, employees, and assets safe and secure. You’ll be professional, courteous, and vigilant, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Main Responsibilities

• Carry out all security tasks as directed by the Security Supervisor

• Monitor and authorise access to buildings and facilities

• Patrol premises and report any suspicious activity

• Respond to incidents and emergencies effectively and efficiently

• Maintain detailed and accurate security reports and logs

• Provide a visible and reassuring presence on-site

• Ensure compliance with all company and legal security policies

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in a similar security role

• SIA Licence essential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle incidents calmly and effectively

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach

• Flexible with shift patterns (4 on 4 off rota)

• A team player who can also work independently
