About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Building Services Technician to join our team. You'll be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance services, supporting statutory compliance and ensuring the smooth running of building systems. You will also undertake minor new works, support apprentices, and engage with stakeholders to maintain high service levels.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults across multiple building services disciplines
  • Undertake routine and statutory maintenance in line with regulations and best practice
  • Deliver minor new works and like-for-like asset replacements
  • Carry out risk assessments and ensure all works are completed safely
  • Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to ensure efficient operations
  • Provide emergency call-out cover as required

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Technology (or equivalent) and 18th Edition
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar building services maintenance role
  • Proven experience working independently with technical systems
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance
  • IT literate, with familiarity using Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritise workload
