Job Introduction

• 37.5 hours per week
• £12.21 per hour
• 5 days out of 7 
• Monday to Friday Morning shift: 06:00 till 14:00
• Monday to Friday Evening shift: 12:00 till 20:00
• 1 weekend per month required: 11:45 till 14:45 and 18:45 till 23:45

Job Introduction

We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Catering Assistant to join our team at RAF Benson in Wallingford. You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of efficient and high-quality food services. Creating a positive experience for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that food and beverages are served to a high standard.

• Assist in the preparation and assembly of meals, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the food service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.

• Help with the safe storage of food items and adhere to the rotation of stock.

• Take customer orders, process payments, and support any special dietary requirements.

• Assist in setting up and breaking down food service stations, ensuring an efficient service operation.

• Follow all health and safety regulations in line with Sodexo's policies.
