Job Introduction

As a Security Officer at Branston depot, DE14 3EG. No two days are the same and your actions will directly impact the safety and security of the clients and the building they work in, This building is a probation centre, so frequent interaction with ex offenders & probation staff is common.. you'll be improving the quality of life for all you meet!

What you’ll do:

  • Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols, also ensure that the safety and environment for our building users is of our highest priority.
  • Monitoring of CCTV, Access Control and other protective systems 
  • Act as a first line response to activations & incidents or fault reporting
  • Log and transfer calls, relay messages and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff
  • To carry out regular patrols throughout the shift

What you bring:

  • Ability to interact with staff, residents, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities
  • Must be over the age of 18
  • Standard SIA License is needed
  • Excellent communication and awareness skills 
  • Experience in working in a similar
  • Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures 
  • Due to the nature of the site, The premises are residential units which house ex-offenders in the community- This means that this role is subject to a full DBS clearance.
