Maintenance Technician (Electrical/Multiskilled) – Diageo, Oxford Circus

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll ensure the smooth running of essential electrical and mechanical systems, from LV systems and lighting to air handling units and building management systems. Working within a collaborative team, you’ll contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient environment for one of the world’s leading brands.


What you’ll do:

Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including LV systems, lighting, and building management systems (BMS).

Conduct mechanical system checks, such as on air handling units (AHUs), pumps, and fan coil units.

Oversee subcontractor performance and escalate issues to site management as needed.

Promote energy efficiency measures within your remit.

Adhere to Health & Safety protocols, completing necessary training and ensuring compliance at all times.

Use the CMMS system (Maximo) for task management and reporting.


What you bring:

A qualification in electrical systems such as City & Guilds 2382-12 (18th Edition), with City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing preferred.

Multiskilled expertise supported by an HND or NVQ in Building Services or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical building services, coupled with a solid understanding of mechanical systems.

Previous experience in a Competent Person (CP) or Authorised Person (AP) role is advantageous.

Strong knowledge of Health & Safety standards, including CDM regulations.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
