  • £12.00 per hour
  • 20 hours per week
  • Working pattern: 5 out of 7 days per week. shifts vary includes morning and evening working. 
  • 52 week contract 

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.**

At Sodexo, you will be an essential member of the team working as a School Cleaner in Edinburgh Academy Senior School, 42 Henderson Row, Edinburgh, EH3 5BL .  You will be responsible for the site's overall appearance on a daily basis, providing outstanding cleaning services in order to keep the surroundings safe and hygienic for everyone.  Your enthusiasm for what you do influences those around you, making a positive impact.  Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:

  • Pay close attention to the details and complete the cleaning tasks on your scheduled list.
  • Make sure the workplace's common areas, kitchens, and restrooms are spotless.
  • Restock essentials and supplies such as hand gels and toilet paper
  • Be a champion of health and safety practices

What you bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work quickly and adapt when circumstances change
  • Be a team player and follow instruction
