Job Introduction

As a Business Manager Catering at Sodexo, Dell Ovens, Cork, you are also a strategic leader and customer service advocate. In this role, you will monitor performance and promote growth through direct line management of multiple service offers, ensuring service excellence and business profitability. What you’ll do: 

  • Oversee retail outlets, onsite staff restaurants, hospitality events, and vending services.
  • Deliver highly customer-focused services that exceed expectations and drive business growth.
  • Prepare accurate financial information to track service performance and drive profitability.
  • Plan, organise, and control all aspects of services and activities within client and company guidelines.
  • Manage staffing rotas to meet trading patterns, business growth, and budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained, and equipment is safe for use.
  • Strictly control cash handling and stock, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Implement marketing strategies to maximise selling opportunities, patronage, and customer loyalty.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Use SAP to produce monthly P&L accounts for communication to Sodexo finance and account managers.

What you bring:

  • Experience in retail services.
  • Good IT skills, including familiarity with systems such as SAP and Clarity Live.
  • Demonstrates high-quality customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience working within a safety culture/zero harm culture.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Sodexo policies and procedures.
  • Health and safety qualification.
  • Personal License holder.
