Job Introduction

As an Events Lead at Sodexo, based in the UK, you will be a key leader and organiser. You will manage the end-to-end event process, ensuring high standards and exceptional customer service at all times. You will lead the events team, coordinate conferences and events across multiple locations, and manage the Desana system. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:

• Manage locations, meeting rooms, and logistics for internal and external client events.

• Oversee the administration of location inboxes and general queries.

• Coordinate events using the events management tool and agencies.

• Supervise host/hostess requirements across all locations.

• Provide management information on events, including delegate numbers, meeting room usage, and financial details.

• Adhere to client security and emergency procedures.

• Implement improvements to processes and procedures for optimal systems.

• Act as the main contact for the M&O events team, RE&F, and other departments.

• Analyse event KPIs and produce post-event summaries.

• Manage multiple high-profile events simultaneously.

• Deliver all services professionally to meet customer requirements and expectations.

• Plan, multi-task, and prioritise to meet deadlines.

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and users to meet Service Level Agreement requirements.

• Produce post-event reports, raise Purchase Orders, and manage event finances.

• Collaborate closely with the Client Event Team.

• Travel between client locations as needed.

• Encourage innovation in event planning and management.
