Sodexo is searching for a Hospitality Support Worker to join our dynamic team in York - YO31 8TA . 

If  you are an enthusiastic individual, you would like to thrive in a friendly environment and can help assist preparing mouth watering dishes, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• To ensure that the site guidelines are followed.
• To ensure the floor area is compliant to Health and Safety procedures.
• Monitor and replenish stationery hubs as required.
• To monitor and replenish the beverage machines and coffee points in the allocated areas.
• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Ensure cleanliness and order in the service area.
• Manage time efficiently during event preparation and implementation.
• Prepare, deliver, and set up all beverage & refreshment requirements as to agreed timelines, layout and standards.
• Ensure that all hospitality equipment is regularly cleaned, maintained and returned to the allocated storage cupboards.
• Regularly review stock levels, maintain required levels of stock, place orders, oversee deliveries and appropriate storage of hospitality items.

What you'll bring:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but not essential
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Ability to work effectively and a willingness to assist in various tasks needed
