LVS Oxford School is a multi-award-winning Independent School for young people with a diagnosis of Autism or Asperger's Syndrome. We are looking for a talented Chef to join our team in Oxford. Working with seasonal, fresh ingredients and creating custom meals that are constantly changing will delight you and this role offers you the chance to showcase your creative flair and make a positive impact!
What you will do!
- Be a kitchen star and plan all operations and training for the production team.
- Direct the preparation, seasoning and cooking of salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foods.
- Plan and price menu items, order supplies and keep records and accounts.
- Work on the range with the Kitchen team to train, guide and develop.
- Monitor sanitation practises to ensure the employees follow standards and regulations.
- prepare, produce and present food to the highest standard.
What you will bring!
- NVQ Level 2
- Food & Hygiene and Health & Safety certificates
- Experience in menu planning and production
- Experience in or exposure to bulk cooking
