We have fantastic opportunity for Kitchen Porters join the team at our Central Production Kitchen in Leith, Edinburgh.

As part of our fabulous back of house team, you will be organised, communicate positively with the whole team and take pride in delivering sparkling clean equipment and premises in a fast-paced environment. Hours of work are mostly day shifts at this 7-day operation.

What you’ll need:

• You’ll need strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to demonstrate great teamwork.
• Great attention to detail and punctuality.
• Previous kitchen or boh experience is beneficial in a similar setting.
• Ensure the cleanliness standards of presentation of the kitchen and storage areas are maintained.
• To be aware of and adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene, and COSHH regulations governing the work you are undertaking, and to ensure the correct chemicals and detergents are always used.
• To operate an industrial dishwasher
• To ensure the proper storage/disposal of all waste products
• To assist with deliveries of goods

What you’ll bring: 

• Previous back of house or Kitchen Porter experience in a similar setting is beneficial.
• Have excellent levels of personal hygiene and presentation standards.
• Be consistently and punctual.
• Positive attitude, being friendly yet professional.
• A team player with an ability to work in a busy environment.
