Job Introduction


    • 40 hours per week
    • 5 out of 7 days

    • Heavy lifting is required
    • Early morning starts, weekend and evening work with hotel stays will be required when necessary.
    • Primarily floor cleaning of carpets and hard floors at clients sites at locations in Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, North Wales, Cheshire, Shropshire and West Midlands
    • Over 25 with full Driving Licence essential (no more than 6 penalty points)
    • Company vehicle with equipment provided.
  • As a Mobile Periodic Cleaning Supervisor at Sodexo in you will be travelling to various sites in the Lancashire area. You'll supervise multiple sites and their cleaning services to create a safe and healthy environment. You'll interact with our clients daily these sites are home to ex-offenders, and you'll be improving the quality of life in everyone you meet!     What you’ll do:     

    • Primarily floor cleaning. Cleaning of carpets and hard floors at clients sites.
    • Lifting floor cleaning machines in and out of vehicles when necessary
    • Ensure completion of all requested/contracted tasks and motivate your team to effectively ensure these are completed in a timely and thorough manner.
    • Completing floor cleaning and other deep cleaning tasks at locations in Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, North Wales, Cheshire, Shropshire and West Midlands
    •  You’ll be provided a company vehicle along with a fuel card to visit different sites and assist your team to carry out a list of scheduled cleaning tasks.
    •  In this role, you'll be given a lot of responsibility to ensure yours and you're teams tasks are carried out within the timescales given.
    •  Use your own initiative in reviewing the impact that your team are having on you're site, as your leadership should pave the way of successful feedback from the client.
    • Oversee the ordering of stock and consumables such as toilet tissue, cleaning products and appliances. Also ensuring that a record of this is kept for compliance.
    • Be a champion of health and safety practices - spot a near miss? Report it to keep your colleagues safe!
    • Ensure regular safety walks are completed, to pick up any hazards.
    • Frequent feedback sessions with your team, to ensure they are confident and happy in their roles.
  • What you bring: 

    •  Over 25 with full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
    •  Physically fit, as heavy lifting is required
    •  Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, as well as some team leading experience. 
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills 
    • Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed 
    • Be a team player and take instruction
