Job Introduction

As a Maintenance Planner at Sodexo, Eli Lilly - Kinsale, you play a vital role in assisting with site asset management strategy and the delivery of asset maintenance and Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services. Your responsibilities include coordinating and planning technical service delivery, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and driving improvement initiatives within the contractors group.

What you’ll do:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery improvement initiatives by overseeing all aspects of Sodexo technical activity in the area.
  • Coordinate technical suppliers, ensuring site availability for work, and meet and greet technical suppliers.
  • Implement safe systems of work, including risk assessments, method statements, permits to work, and safe isolations.
  • Respond to emergency calls promptly and assist in the development of asset improvement plans.
  • Coordinate and plan all area tasks, feeding into the site-wide planning model using Sodexo Maximo.
  • Assess supplier technical reports and raise quotations for any remedials required.
  • Maintain a structured filing system for subcontractors, including purchase orders, qualification documentation, service level agreements, and maintenance/inspection reports.
  • Assist in good budget management.

What you bring:
  • Highly customer-focused with the ability to motivate and drive performance in teams to deliver high standards of service and cost-effectiveness.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical applications and processes, with the ability to transfer skills across technical and soft disciplines.
  • IT literate and proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems such as Maximo.
  • Understanding of risk management and health, safety, and environmental practices.
  • Familiarity with the services delivered by IFM and their impact on customers.
  • Understanding of heavily regulated environments.
  • A background in electrical maintenance would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of customer business operations and the operating model of Eli Lilly.
