Onsite – Monday-Friday – No weekends

Sodexo has a great opportunity for a Chef Manager to join our established team working with our clients based in Wrexham.

Joining our team at their large sustainable packaging solutions site in Wales, you will ensure the prompt and efficient preparation and service of all meals to the company’s
standard and to the client’s satisfaction, maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the Unit to the required standard in the Service Level Agreement.

Maintaining all statutory regulations and ensuring company policies are adhered to, you will also be responsible for planning, preparation and presentation of all meals served at the required times, adhering to the Service Level Agreement and to the client, customer and Sodexo satisfaction.

About You 
Experience and knowledge requirement for this role: 
  • Experience of catering management, managing a team and budgets. Therefore, a good standard of financial acumen is required
  • Flexible and self-motivated with a sense of own initiative with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and work well under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and staff at all levels
  • Ability to develop increasing individual effectiveness through leadership, motivation, communication, coaching and training
  • Ability to set and achieve standards and operate to performance criteria, with particular regard to hygiene and compliance
  • Computer literacy with experience of delivering training using company guidelines
Qualifications required:
  • NVQ chef qualification or equivalent (Preferred)
