Location: Central London  
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 based on experience 
New innovate shift pattern, with 3 days off per week and no overnight working

Sodexo have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Multi-skilled Engineer to join our team working for a prestigious client in and around central London.  
 
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal functionality maintenance on a wide range of mechanical & electrical building services and equipment.  
 
This includes LV systems, general lighting, building controls, small power, and distribution, BMS systems, motors, pumps and other equipment found in modern commercial/industrial premises. 
 
You will also directly contribute to the development, implementation, and enhancement of maintenance strategies for assets, utilising current best practices, tools, and techniques.  
 
Collaborating closely with the rest of the Technical Services team you will take a customer focused approached to your work to ensure continued value to the service delivery.

About You  
 
Experience and knowledge requirement for this role:  
 
  • Electrically qualified multi-skilled engineer with C&G level 3 & 18th edition 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within building services role (corporate environment) 
  • Experience in utilising and diagnosing issues with Simmtronic lighting control system 
  • Experience of using a works order planning database, e.g., Maximo 
  • Ability to work without supervision as well as part of a team
  • Willingness and aptitude to be trained in any skills gap 
  • Good awareness and understanding of health, safety and environmental 
  • Minimum IOSH Working Safely or equivalent safety accreditation 
  • Have excellent technical awareness and good overview of M&E building services 
  • Proven experience of issuing permits, writing risk assessments and HS&E active monitoring 
  • Review existing plant maintenance regimes and instigate improvements and initiatives
  • Good written skills and capable of producing engineering technical reports 
  • Experience within managing / coordinating service contractors and contracts
