Job Introduction

As a Hospitality Supervisor at Sodexo in Shell London, you will be responsible for overseeing all service aspects of our catering operations and will need to be an excellent leader who can motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. You will require excellent communication and organisational skills as well as strong attention to detail. What you’ll do:

  • Knowledge of health & safety and food safety in a catering environment
  • Maintain levels of quality, cleanliness, food safety and hygiene in line with company SEMS, Safeguard and local authority regulations i.e. EHO, HSE
  • Oversee the service of all food & beverages within the venue.
  • Work Duty Manager shifts as and when required
  • Proactively seek to ensure that the highest standards are met at all times
  • Complete food or drink preparation tasks as necessary to assist with food and drink service
  • Be in attendance at core meal times ensuring that all customers receive the best possible service as well as providing an initial point of contact should there be any questions or complaints
  • Ensure security is maintained and events are staffed appropriately and in accordance with licensing laws and Licensing Procedures

 What you bring:

  • Previous experience in a supervisor position
  • Highly professional manner and understanding that honesty and ethics are essential 
  • Cheerful outlook and ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect  
  • Computer literacy / Administration skills
  • A willingness to learn
