Job Introduction

As a Multi-skilled Patient Catering Supervisor at Sodexo in Haywood Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will lead team members. This role includes overseeing the preparation and serving of our vibrant menu and ensuring all working areas are kept clean and tidy, along with overseeing our Ward Hosts, ensuring our great team are providing the best of service to our patients whilst taking patient orders and delivering patient food.  There may also be opportunities to utilise your Supervisory skill set when required within the catering team, within some of our other departments.  Your cheerful customer service puts a smile on our patients and visitors faces and makes an impact in their everyday lives. What you’ll do: 

  • Lead and coordinate activities regarding dining service, patient menu ordering and delivery and assist the Catering Manager when required

  • Ensure a safe working environment throughout the for all employees   

  • Responsible for orientation and training of employees   

What you bring: 

  • Previous supervisory experience  

  • Highly professional manner and an understanding that honesty and ethics are essential  

  • Positive attitude and the ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professional and respect
