Job Introduction

Sodexo Live have an exceptional opportunity for someone aspiring to undertake a Staffing / HR administration apprenticeship! 

You will be working as part of the iconic Ascot Racecourse team, and over a two period, you will work towards and complete a Level 3 HR Support qualification.

You will support the Recruitment Manager with the coordination and administration of all casual worker recruitment and provide the HR and staffing function with administration support for Racedays and the Conference and Events business. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing the casual labour communications
  • Supporting the staffing requirements for external events
  • Liaising with agencies to provide timesheets and support with pay queries
  • Supporting the Ascot Induction process
  • Communicate to staff, both full-time and casual, necessary information relating to the raceday/event
  • Support accommodation bookings
  • General HR Admin

The Ideal Candidate

You will be motivated and adaptable, and confidently able to manage workload and different tasks simultaneously.  You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a good understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. You will also be highly organised and be able to work to tight deadlines.

Above all you will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have a keen interest in working within a busy HR function within the Hospitality Industry.
