What you’ll do: 

·       Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols 

·       Monitoring of CCTV, Access Control and other protective systems  

·       Act as a first line response to activations & incidents or fault reporting  

·       Log and transfer calls, relay messages and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff 

·       To carry out regular patrols throughout the shift 

What you bring: 

·       Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities  

·       A full current driving license 

·       Excellent communication and awareness skills 

·       Experience in working in a similar role 

·       Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures

Main Responsibilities

Security officer required - experienced guard required with SIA licence and first aid preferred but not essential as this can be arranged.

12 hour shift rotation over 7 days covering days and nights looking after internal and external buildings and grounds.

building patrols and grounds patrols done on a regular basis so must be very diligent and conscientious

alarm setting and diester point checks throughout

competent in completing Daily Log books and incident books

monitoring of CCTV and Key control

FULL I.D. to provide and references to provide for Right to work.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Must have SIA badge and in date.
  • First aid cerfificate preferred .
  • Driving licence preferrable and full ID required for vetting purposes.
  • Must be able to give clear information to visitors on site, including staff. and contractors during the course of your shift, clear communacation skills , essential, for emergency call outs .
