About the role

At Sodexo Pfizer Ringaskiddy Co Cork Republic Ireland, we are passionate about food and we place our customers at the heart of everything we do.  To provide an exceptional service, we have a team of passionate Kitchen Porters behind us and we currently have a vacancy to join our great team! 

You will assist with all kitchen duties and will be responsible for preparing and serving food with due care and attention. You will clean your areas and wash up the crockery and cutlery afterwards, always ensuring your work areas are glistening!  

A few things about you 

This is a customer facing role so it’s important to have a positive, friendly attitude. You will work as part of a team and will need to have strong communication skills.

Its a full time role ideally suited to a person who can work day time hours normally finish by 3pm, must have the right to work within the EU and the Republic of Ireland.

Experience working in a similar industry (e.g. food service, catering or hospitality) would be great, but generally customer service and food handling experience will tick the box!

​A general knowledge of health and safety procedures is also required, with knowledge of basic food hygiene, food preparation, cooking and cleaning.  

Main Responsibilities

  • Dish washing
  • Pot washing 
  • Plate washing
  • Cleaning trays
  • Cleaning areas within kitchen
  • Emptying rubbish
  • Cleaning Tables
  • Assisting Chefs in food prep
  • Mop and sweeping floors

 

The Ideal Candidate

Full training provided experience not Necessary

 

Full time Position not suitable for a part time worker
