  • 35 HOURS PER WEEK
  • €11.55 RATE OF PAY
  • SHIFT PATTERN 
  • Monday- Friday normally some weekends as overtime if required, flexible day off if required.  8.15 am to 2.15 pm if working a weekend shift normally 9 am to 2 pm or 10 am to 2 pm  at

About the role

At Sodexo we are passionate about food, and we believe that good food really has the power to bring everyone together!

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll help with our team with cleaning and washing up as valued member of the team and support our Chefs in the preparation and serving of beautiful dishes.

You'll ensure that all the table ware pots and pans are glistening along with the kitchen and restaurant, as we like call the engine room back of house,  we require a flexible approach and we reward hard work.

A few things about you

Your communication skills need to be strong and your attention to detail second to none! You’ll need the ability to work well under pressure and being a team player is vital. Putting customer service at the heart of everything you do, will ensure you'll quickly become an integral part of our brilliant team.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never worked as a kitchen Porter before, what does matter to us is taking pride in what you do. You'll need a willingness to learn as there will be great opportunities to grow and progress your career with Sodexo!

Main Responsibilities

General cleaning duties

Keeping the kitchen areas clean and sanitized

washing all cooking tools and utensils

Washing pots and pans china and tableware

Stock handing meeting deliveries stock rotation

Supporting the kitchen team in food prep and assist when required

Helping front of house team as and when required

Sweep and Mop floors

Take out the rubbish

Meeting food hygiene and heath and safety regulations

The Ideal Candidate

A general all rounder who wishes to progress within a team, flexible with great time management a fast learner with an interest in kitchen work, can be a fast paced environment so the ability to remain clam and organized to work independently or within team,  we are looking to grown this person and reward your journey along the way.  

Experience not necessary but would benefit role, full training provided.
