Package Description
We are currently recruiting for a 6 month fixed term position within one of our office catering sites, the role has the potential to become a permanent position at the end of the 6 months
Benefits include on site parking and Mon-Fri day time working
You will be responsible for preparing a cooked breakfast, soup and 2 hot boxes per day and hospitality lunches which include bought in finger food and sandwiches
The position would suit someone who has kitchen experience and can manage allergens and follow recipes. A food safety certificate would be of benefit, full training will be provided to the successful candidate
The site does around 20-40 covers per day
Level 2 Police Vetting is required for the position

Main Responsibilities
As a Kitchen assistant you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers
- Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
- Cleanliness and replenishing of vending machines
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Possess good customer service skills
- Good communication skills – written and verbal
- The ability to demonstrate great team work
- Basic Food Hygiene & Basic Health & Safety Certificate is advantageous but not essential for this role
