We currently have an opportunity for a Bar Steward to join our amazing team! You’ll serve a range of finely crafted drinks, replenish stock and always ensure your work areas are glistening!

A few things about you

We want you to bring your can-do attitude, your flexible approach to working and your great reliability with you when you join us. Don’t forget to bring you excellent attention to detail and good communication skills too! 

Being a team player is important, but you’ll also be working on your own! Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal, but if you have great people skills, we’d love to hear from you! 

As Sodexo embeds a strong safety culture in everything we do, it is vital that you follow all Health and Safety Regulations. 

Site security clearance is required for this role.  

Main Responsibilities

-Opening or closing the bar depending on what shift you are on.
-To maintain excellent customer/client relationships
-To maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times
-To ensure adherence to the liquor licensing laws
-Complete consolidation sheets at the end of each shift, identifying cash taken and chit totals
-Clear and clean all dirty glasses and keep tables wiped
-Support the bar manager with stock takes
