Our General Assistants are vital to our catering operation and ensuring that we cater for air craft at Brize Norton.

This is a great opportunity to join us at RAF Brize Norton, to support our Armed Forces and improve the quality of their daily life, as the site is not only their workplace but also a home to many of them

A few things about you

We want you to bring your can-do attitude, your flexible approach to working and your great reliability with you when you join us. Being a team player is important, don’t forget to bring you excellent attention to detail and good communication skills too! 

Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal, but if you have great people skills, we’d love to hear from you! 

General knowledge of health and safety procedures is also required, with understanding of basic food hygiene and cleaning.     

Sodexo embeds a strong safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our Health & Safety practises so it is vital that you will champion this. 

DBS Check is required to work at this site.  

Main Responsibilities

• Rationing and Derationing of various military aircraft
• Preparing pre-packed catering for aircraft
• Working within a team in a fast paced working environment.
• Stock rotation
