Job Introduction

We are currently looking to add to our kitchen brigade at the Virgin Atlantic Lounge, Heathrow, to deliver a world class guest experience. The lounge offers both Brasserie Dining and Casual Dining options while creating a relaxed atmosphere for our guests. 

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated individual who will be able to create culinary masterpieces, in the form of delightfully presented dishes as part of our dedicated team. This role will be based on our Deli Bar, where you will be preparing and both serving all of the customers that use the deli bar.

Main Responsibilities

  • Preparation and serving of food
  • Ensuring that all service areas are clean and tidy
  • Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations, ensuring that they are followed at all times
  • Delivering a world class customer service experience to our customers and staff
  • Serving all customers that use the deli bar with first class service in a quick and efficient manner
  • Assisting the Head Chef or Chef Manager with paperwork including stock control
  • Completing all daily paperwork associated with the deli service accurately

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a food service background
  • Good presentation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (advantageous but not essential)
  • Basic Health and Safety Certificate (advantageous but not essential)
  • Good customer service skills
  • Able to provide 5 year employment referencing
